I’ve never had any ambitions. Ambition is a very dangerous thing because either you achieve it and your life ends prematurely or you don’t in which case your life is a constant source of disappointment. You must never have ambition. The phone rings or it doesn’t. Managing lifestyle, that’s the only thing you should be careful about. In this job you have a shelf life and if you’ve built your life up to such an extent lifestyle-wise, that when it stops you can no longer afford to lead that life, then you’re in deep shit.
